Altar Guild
Altar Guild serves God and the congregation by enhancing Peace’s Divine Services.  Duties include cleaning and maintaining items used during the services, changing paraments and banners for the appropriate church season, preparing communion, and assisting the pastor in the enrichment of the congregation’s liturgical life.  Anyone may join Altar Guild. Boy Scouts
We proudly support Troop 584, which continues to reflect Lutheran ethics. For more information, contact the Church Office.

Evangelism
Bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our community. We host events and classes focused on sharing the Gospel with others. Leaders and volunteers are always welcome!

Greeters
Open to any member of Peace Lutheran Church; we greet and welcome members and visitors as they come into services.  Sign up on Peace’s Opportunities Page.

Health & Safety Team
The Health and Safety team provides safety oversight for all worship services and special events.  The team is certified in CPR/AED and basic medical treatment. 

Helping Hands
Established in February of 1995, under the guidance of Social Ministry, to serve our members in times of tragedy, such as illness, death, or other serious crises.  Our main service prepares and serves a luncheon meal following a funeral.  Volunteers are called on short notice to provide a hot dish, salad, or dessert.  Others organize the food and serve the meal.  New volunteers are always welcome.  We are blessed to be of service! 

Hospitality
Helps coordinate special celebrations and events within Peace. The mission of Hospitality is to foster a culture of fellowship, keeping those at Peace connected to God and the church. 

Ladies Club
A social organization open to all women in the congregation age 21 and older to promote Christian fellowship.  Our monthly meetings provide fun events, learning opportunities, interesting speakers, and occasional outings while providing the opportunity to become better acquainted with ladies in the church.  Any fundraisers the club engages in primarily support women’s needs in our congregation and the surrounding community.  Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month, January-November, at 7:00 p.m.

Life Ministry Team
Through the love of Jesus Christ the Life Ministry Team exists to equip Peace Lutheran Church to sanctify human life at all stages. The purpose of the Life Ministry Team is to plan and implement life affirming activities at Peace. The Life Ministry Team is open to all members of Peace and meets the first Sunday of each month at 11:45 a.m. in the Commons Conference Room.

LWML-Ladies Guild
Open to all female members of Peace Lutheran Church, 18 years and older. Meets at Peace on the third Thursday of the month at 10:45 a.m., September through June. The purpose of LWML (Lutheran Women’s Missionary League) Ladies Guild is to foster Christian fellowship and provide Christian service.

Married Couples Club
Open to all married couples of Peace Lutheran Church (one spouse has to be a member of Peace); meets on various dates throughout the year for activities and to promote fellowship.

Mary-Martha Bible Study
Open to women of any age; Bible study every Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. in the Kitchen Meeting Room.

Men’s Morning Bible Study
Meets at church every other Thursday of each month (except August) at 7:00 a.m. in Sanctuary Hall.

Men’s Club
Open to all male members of Peace Lutheran Church, 21 years and older. Meets at church on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m., except in December. Men’s Club renders service to church and promotes fellowship.

Mission Outreach
A variety of national and international mission trips are offered each summer for middle and high school youth, adults and families. We also facilitate Peace’s support of missionaries abroad.

Music Ministry
Peace has a large and active Music Ministry with ensembles for many interests and age levels. Vocal, Handbell, and Instrumental Ensembles round out Peace’s Music Ministry. You are invited to participate. For a complete overview of the Music Ministry please visit: www.peacestlmusic.org.

New Member Classes
A six-week, new member class held on Sundays from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Sanctuary Hall. A light lunch is provided each week. New member class covers a series of topics over a six-week period and is designed for those desiring communicant membership, or for any current members looking for a review of Lutheran teaching. Plastic Mat Making
Meets every first and third Tuesday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to noon. This ministry takes plastic grocery bags and crochets them into mats for the homeless. Everyone is welcome to join, and some work can even be done at home.

Property Management
Property Management is a group of committed congregation volunteers gathered to serve and maintain the building and grounds of Peace Lutheran Church – to God be the Glory!  The team meets the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00PM.  Volunteers are always needed and appreciated. 

Quilters
Open to anyone with the desire to learn or ability to quilt. They meet each Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at church. Our mission and purpose is fellowship and to make quilts for anyone who desires one.

Social Ministry
We bring the love of Christ Jesus to those in our church and community who are experiencing hardship or need. Come learn how you can help your neighbor by sharing your time, talents, and gifts. Volunteer opportunities are available for all ages.

Sunday School
Classes for all ages are taught from 9:15-10:15 a.m. on Sunday morning.  General information about Sunday School is available at our Children’s Sunday School office, located on the west side of the main floor, just across from the gym.  Volunteers ages 18+ are needed as teachers, teacher aides, and office personnel (a one-year commitment).  Please consider joining us in educating the next generation about God and His Word! 

Surviving Spouses
Open to widowed members of Peace Lutheran Church. The group meets at Denny’s Restaurant, South Lindbergh Blvd., the second Thursday of each month, at 9:00 a.m.

Vacation Bible School
An exciting, Jesus-filled week for children ages 3 – entering 6th grade.  Typically held the last full week in June. Many opportunities to help assist with crafts, snacks, music, games, Bible stories, registration, and more are available for 7th grade youths to adults. Volunteers who enjoy sharing the love of Jesus with children are needed and appreciated.

Youth Group
Provides Christ-centered activities, hands-on service events, and small group Bible Studies for our Middle School (6th-8th Grade) and High School (9th-12th Grade) students.
